Common Core News & Highlights

Let's summarize some of the latest developments and critical information surrounding the common core. For example, will California strive to retain Algebra in the 8th grade? If not will our standards closely align to Massachusetts? When will any publisher in the states release an acceptable textbook? When will the CSTs be done away with and what will happen to the high school exit exam? The answers to these questions and many more may soon be found here (please share).

The common core standards will be assessed the school year 14-15. Thus, next year will be the last year that the CSTs should be taken.
